Senior BI Analyst, Assistant Vice President
Data Operations and Strategy Team (DOST), serves as a techno-functional team that builds data analytics capabilities and drives data related projects and the overall data strategy for Finance. DOST also owns and manages key Finance, Treasury and Risk data repositories support critical and regulatory processes across Finance, Treasury and Risk. The team drives data solutions to ensure consistent use of authoritative sources of data and implements effective governance and controls for management of data across the data supply chain. Additionally, it is the role of DOST to leverage Finance data across various platforms and technologies and build appropriate strategic reporting and analytics tools to address data needs for our users.
This role interacts with upstream business process owners and downstream data consumers to build out cutting edge reporting and analytics tools. Hence, the candidate will require experience across finance and technology teams. The candidate will have been agile and hands-on in terms of the end to end analysis of requirements and delivery of solution. The candidate must build a thorough understanding of current state data infrastructure and bring perspective on latest reporting and analytics tools, industry best practices.
This candidate will bring strong communication, analytical and technical skills to the role to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of BI tools to fulfil data needs for customers. They will lead the reporting team as a SME and mentor.

What you will be responsible for
• Oversee the design and implementation of reporting processes for Finance Organization, ensuring that each process is suitably designed and operationally feasible, in compliance with regulatory, data governance and internal audit requirements
• Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence tools adhering to established frameworks and standards
• Actively participate in and influence discussions around reporting requirements, infrastructure needs, and design; Influence business process improvements by integrating data/tools with people/purpose
• Interface directly with clients and project team members to understand the needs and objectives of the business
• Consistently deliver high-quality business intelligence solutions and services to clients on schedule
• Bring structure to ambiguous business problems and recommend visualization solutions that can be easily interpreted by users
• Serve as end user support for the organizational user base
• Sponsor teamwork and encourage collaboration
• Familiarity with ETL concepts will prove helpful
• Strategic thinking, Strong communication skills, at both senior management level and team/project level.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree with 8+ years of professional experience as a business/reporting analyst, in a dynamic business environment, with demonstrated reporting, analytical, and database experience
• 5+ years of experience with business intelligence tools and data visualization Tools (i.e. Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau) is a must
• Sound understanding of BI best practices/ methodologies; experience with relational structures, structured query language (SQL), data warehouse and reporting techniques is a must
• Self-motivated, well-rounded, analytical self-starter with ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, Agile team environment with aggressive deadlines, regular releases and multiple priorities
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and organize data to solve complex problems
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with business and systems personnel
• Familiarity with Finance products and balance sheet concepts
• Understanding of Agile SDLC methodology
• Practical experience in SQL is a must and Python is preferable
• Experience with Reporting and system design best practices, data quality controls, regional or regulatory reporting requirements, Audit and Compliance exposure is preferable

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 Annual
